Happy New Year!

Sue, Austin, and I hope you all had a very great Christmas and had the chance to spend time with family and friends.  2006 was a very fast paced year with a lot of changes.  Sue and I saw our son grow through his first year and saw some absolutely remarkable changes in him.  The province has a new Premier in Honourable Ed Stelmach, and continued toexperienced impressive growth across virtually all regions and communties.  2007 promises to be no different.  Alberta is forecast to have nation leading growth, the rural development initiative proceeds onward, and this constituency is beginning to feel the benefits, and the challenges, that come with new growth and the Alberta Advantage.  I assure you that I will continue to work hard for the people of this constituency and rural Alberta.  My New Years's resolution was to be an better husband, father, and MLA than I have ever been, because no matter how well you do, you can always do better.  All the best to everyone this year, and watch for me as I will be around a lot in schools, lodges, coffee shops, town offices, and local businesses before session starts.  If you need to reach me for any reason, please just call the office.  Take care and see you soon!
