Blog 6 - The Week the Women Went
It is about 20 mins to 1pm on Wednesday. Austin sleep really well last night. He went down good at about 9:45 and slept until 6:30. Normally he would take a bit of juice and fall back asleep until 8:30 but he doesn't want to go to bed alone. I have never had to rock him so much before, so I gave him some juice and rocked him back to sleep and he slept until 9am. His cold seems to be getting better though he was still stuffed up some this morning.We played and ate breakfast after he woke up. It was so cute . . . I was on the phone making constituency calls when he came down all by himself and sat on the stairs smiling at me. I can't believe how fast he is growing up!
He just went to bed but it was a bit of a fight to get him to wind down and relax. He wanted his mom's picture back and finally went to sleep just staring at it and pointing to everything and saying, 'momma'. What a boy.
So, when Austin wakes up we are going to go to Castor for a 4-H sale with my dad. I don't know if I will take him that far. My mom wants me to leave him with her so she can spend some time with him, but I would like to take him with me and my dad so we can have a 'guys' day. He would have fun. He is still a bit crabby though and with the wind and rain I think it might just make him worse to be in weather and around the public all day. I will see what kind of mood he is in when he wakes up.
