Opening Day

Today, February 10th, is the opening day of session, which means the His Honour, the Honourable Lieutenant Governor, Norman Kwong will enter the Legislative Assembly of Alberta at 3pm to deliver the Speech From the Throne.  You can watch it live on the internet at  and">http://www.assembly.ab.ca/ and follow the links for audio or video of the event.

This session will see a lot of interesting legislation debated and, I am sure, a vigorous budget debate.  I will be bringing forward two pieces of legislation related to Agriculture.  I am sorry I cannot be more specific but nothing can be said about the legislation until it appears on the Order Paper.  Keep posted as any speeches, questions, or members statements I make will be posted ont his website, as well as facebook and all of the video sites.

This is going to be an exciting session.  Lets roll . . . .
